Sheena graduates college this weekend! Everybody be sure to send her your best wishes.

Good news, everyone! We've gotten an apartment officially now. It's relatively close to school and has very reasonable rent. If you would like to get our future address from us, feel free to e-mail Rob and ask for it. Obviously we won't have a phone number until around the move-in date. Also, watch in the next month or so for IM and e-mail to switch to a joint account.

Having had the opportunity and the blessing of being able to preach in public at last, I have come into means to share it with those of you who were unable to attend. Check the new "Ministry" tab to the left for a link to an mp3 of the sermon.

THREE MONTH WARNING!

February 27, 2005

Been a while. Well, hope you're all enjoying and keeping up with our blog, as we are enjoying sharing our daily thoughts with you there. Also, thank you to everyone so far who's taken the time to sign our guestbook. If you haven't yet, please do so, it takes just a few minutes.

Anyway, the real reason for this update is I finally started the "Collectibles" section of the website. It is finished in the sense that there's no more I can add for the time being, but look for there to be more in the future when we actually have more to post. Enjoy what's there for now.

Bit of a minor thing, but I changed the counter (and also started it over). It no longer counts page-hits (which is a bit unfair since I go here all the time), but counts how many different people have visited (based on IP addresses). To most of you, this doesn't matter in the slightest.

News/Updates were getting a little long as Sheena pointed out, so I started archiving some of it to a separate page. I figure I'll do that monthly as time goes on.

February 4, 2005

Added a new feature that I'm pretty excited about. It's an online Web Log, commonly known as a Blog. This will likely be our main mode of communication for keeping up our friends and relatives with what's going on in our lives. Any major announcements will likely show up here as well, but as far as day-to-day activities in our lives and how things are going, please check it out. The format is such that it allows anyone to leave whatever comments they like on anything either of us posts.

Also fleshed out the History story a tad more. It's still lacking, but that's all I can think of for now.

February 1, 2005

Added a new "Links" page summarizing the links that are scattered about the rest of our webpage, with a few others thrown in for good measure. If you come across any broken ones, let me know.

January 18, 2005

Redid most of the photos on the site so that hopefully they load faster. Also changed the source material for several so that the "large" versions are noticably larger. Plus I added one new photo to the photos section.

January 16, 2005

At the advice of a friend of Sheena's I have made a crude attempt at adding a guestbook. Everyone please feel free to sign and leave your best wishes or comments on the site.

January 12, 2005

On a whim, added a counter to the bottom of the page so I can see how many times a day I stop to look at it.

January 11, 2005

Fixed all the external hyperlinks on the page so they all open in new windows instead of opening in the same window and improperly claiming they were part of www.robinandsheena.com.

Also, with Sheena's help I have been able to add some Bible verses to sections of this site. They were sorely lacking as Christ is the focal point of both our lives.

January 10, 2005

Pretty much completed all the navigation links to the left except Collectibles, which won't be finished for a while. Sheena wrote her own bio, just so you know, she also picked out a better website design/layout.

In addition many thanks to Jenny Post who singlehandedly proof-read the whole site for me and helped fix a number of embarrassing mistakes.

Also thanks to Tim of www.timandkaren.net who started this whole idea.

January 9, 2005

Finished the first draft of webpage, design, etc. Almost no content and many of the pages still have the default pictures/text, making it nearly incomprehensible. Try to ignore the ads at the top and bottom, we're poor and went with a free-hosting option. Also if the asthetics of the site are offensive to you, you're just going to have to wait for the artistically inclined of the two of us to get her chance to help.
